A stunning high quality limited edition giclee print of my painting of the iconic Crocodile Rock. Millport.
Crocodile Rock is a painted large 'crocodile head' on a suitably shaped rock on the beach in Millport.
Millport is the main town on the small island of Cumbrae just a short ferry trip off the Ayrshire Coast.
I go to Millport occasionally with my youngest daughter Alexandra (14) on our bikes during the summer usually for the day and always do a cycle around this small island. It usually ends up with me enjoying sitting on the enjoying a cuppa watching her enjoy climbing on the crocodile rock, Crocodile Rock is a magnet for children visiting Millport for the day so there is always a friend to be made if your a child . She appears in the painting and is the figure on the right walking towards the crocodile rock.
The painting is an idyllic painting on a warm summers day with children doing what they have done for generations climbing on the crocodile rock and enjoying a day away at the beach on Millport as their mums and dads did before them.
Extra Large , Large and small sizes available . The sizes in menu are the actual framed sizes. The mounted only option will be a bit smaller than the stated frame size to allow for the frame width. However, they will frame back up to the stated frame size.
Giclee prints are printed and inspected individually to suit the order. They use superior lightfast inks so they will retain their colour and vibrancy indefinately. They will never fade unlike normal cheaper mass produced prints which will fade out in a few short years.
My paintings were all professionally photographed by top a Scottish 'artists photographer' which allows for fantastic accurate artistic reproduction, colour and the vibrancy of the giclee prints.
Please allow up to 14 days for delivery as all frames are made at framers to order which can take a week and a bit more if urgent please let me know and I may be able to speed things up a bit

Acrylic glass will be used in the framed prints that are being shipped out by courier . Its framing shop quality acrylic glass and not an inferior plastic glass .
***If they can be collected from my home address or my Merchant Square art stall let me know and I will use real glass in frames work
It may also be the case that if at any time in future you would prefer real glass you can easily take it to a local framer who will change glass over for you , this should not be that expensive.

OVERSEAS ORDERING I do not send framed or mounted work overseas due to the prohibitive shipping costs and the fact I cannot insure against the frame arriving undamaged. However, I do often send the signed giclee print itself overseas very lightly rolled in tissue In a 6” x6” x24” reinforced cardboard box which is much cheaper to purchase and you just the print to the framers in your own place as framing is pretty universal. The postage cost is not too expensive either as it’s a very light cardboard box so about £21.50 for Canada ,USA and a wee bit more for down under . message me above or email me at jimdinnen@aol.com .
